Bizzywebs-Design was founded in 2003 with the intention of supplying a high quality and cost effective web design service to start up, small and medium sized businesses.
Every business sector is awash with jargon, it is the shorthand like minded groups use. It is unfair to expect those outside the group to understand that shorthand, therefore I try not to mystify clients with jargon but prefer discussing their requirements in plain English.
Prior to founding Bizzywebs-Design I was employed as a System Analyst & Programmer with a large Central Government department, where I worked on a number of high profile and multi-national systems. For those of you who are interested, I have worked on ICL (now Fujitsu) mainframes using DME & VME operating systems with COBOL. That was followed by a stint working on a new multinational project using AECMA standardisation and SSADM, followed by working on a 2000 user wide area network running on an IBM mainframe and a CMS operating system with Assembler and REXX languages.
I have studied a post-graduate IT course with the Open University, listen to Planet Rock radio, read Terry Pratchett, like big Italian and old British motorcycles and have been a Track Marshal at the Isle of Man TT races (I managed the TT course in 40 minutes on a 650 BSA Lightning - but that's a whole different story).
